Pantone Colour of the Year - Radiant Orchid

Pantone have announced the colour of 2014- "Radiant Orchid" Initially you may be surprised  but when we look at the colour Radiant Orchid on the colour wheel it  sits between blue and red. Our new "it" colours.

Radiant Orchid  represents warmth, richness, luxury and power, purple has a magical, mysterious quality.

 It is a colour steeped in history and is traced back to many  plants found in our garden today; lavender, lilac, orchids and wisteria.
