Designers Guild Manohari Blossom Wallpaper Panel
Manohari is a dreamlike, chinoiserie-inspired scene, soft watercolour trees and meadows rendered with birds and butterflies moving through the composition. A lime-wash effect sits over the whole panel, giving it a slightly faded, atmospheric quality rather than crisp, saturated colour, closer to something remembered than something photographed.
The effect is romantic and contemporary at once, closer to a hand-painted mural glimpsed through soft morning light than a conventional wallpaper repeat. Trees and foliage are rendered loosely, with birds and butterflies scattered through the branches rather than posed in a rigid, symmetrical arrangement, so the eye keeps finding new detail on a second or third look.
Shown here in the Blossom colourway, a warmer, softer palette than its Delft companion. Digitally printed as a complete panel, it can be joined in multiples according to wall width and trimmed in height if required, making it straightforward to scale to a particular wall.
Its dreamy, painterly character suits a bedroom or living room particularly well, especially hung as a considered feature wall rather than wrapped around an entire room.
