Cole & Son Fornasetti Mediterranea Wallpaper 3 Colours
Mediterranea began life in the late 1940s, designed by Fornasetti for the entrance hall of his own house in Milan: a sprawling, almost hypnotic cityscape of rooftops, domes and windows stacked across the wall.
Metallic highlights and bold line work pick out each rooftop and window, so the pattern has a slight shimmer and real depth up close, beyond what a flat cityscape print usually offers.
Available in three colourways: Parchment and Gilver, a lighter, softer combination; Charcoal and Metallics, a deeper, more dramatic option; and White and Black, the most graphic of the three.
Its dense, repeating skyline suits a full room, a hallway or a study, somewhere the pattern has room to build across more than one wall.
